Russian troops receive U.S. rations. Londoners queue to receive rations. Shortage of farm help and machinery is examined. Herbert Hoover and Louis Bromfield discuss farm problems. Reel 2, women tend victory gardens. Fiorello LaGuardia explains that lend-lease food is a weapon to secure the peace. Food supplies and seed are unloaded in Africa. Broadcasts to Fascist countries promise food for those that assist U.S. troops. Citizens express favor for rationing and the U.N. Food is dehydrated for shipment abroad.
